Chromia Launches Incentivized Testing Program with 250000 CHR in Rewards

Chromia (CHR), a Layer-1 relational blockchain platform, has recently introduced an incentivized testing program, as disclosed in the latest updates shared with Finbold on June 11. This initiative offers participants the opportunity to compete for a portion of 250,000 CHR tokens and consists of three distinct projects, all operating on Chromia’s mainnet release candidate network.

Alex Mizrahi, one of the Co-Founders of Chromia, expressed his excitement for the new testing program, underscoring the strength of this blockchain platform:

“We are thrilled to welcome users to explore our cutting-edge platform through this incentivized testing program. Leading up to the mainnet release, this serves as a chance to demonstrate the resilience and dependability of our technology, while also empowering our dedicated community to contribute to shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.”

Chromia Testing Program Initiatives

The testnet enables users to engage with the Chromia Vault wallet and testnet CHR tokens on a Chromia-powered network for the first time. The first two projects, HackNet and ProjectNet, kick off on June 11.

HackNet is tailored for developers and tech-savvy individuals interested in evaluating Chromia’s core software and identifying potential edge cases. It will run until June 28, coinciding with the completion of Trail of Bits’ third-party audit, with rewards totaling up to 100,000 CHR.

On the other hand, ProjectNet encourages developers to dive into Rell and start building on Chromia, even without prior Rell experience. The Demo dApp Contest welcomes submissions from developers proficient in Web2 and Web3 development, whether original creations or adaptations of existing applications. A panel of six Chromia team members will select the winning ProjectNet dApps, with the top three submissions sharing a prize pool of 50,000 CHR. Submissions are accepted until July 26.

Engaging Everyday Users with QuestNet

The final initiative, QuestNet, commences on June 18 and aims to involve everyday users through a user-friendly dashboard that encourages interaction with functions like Chromia Vault and various dApps. A total of 100,000 CHR will be distributed through lotteries at the conclusion of the program, with eligibility criteria undisclosed beforehand. Participants are urged to complete all quests, regularly check the dashboard, and stay updated on social media to maximize their chances of earning rewards.

Showcasing Chromia’s Scaling Capabilities

The incentivized testing program seeks to highlight Chromia’s capabilities in various sectors such as digital collectibles, gaming, real-world assets (RWAs), and sports. Chromia’s horizontal scaling capabilities enable it to manage parallel tasks and support high-performance gaming dApps. With its modular framework and relational blockchain technology, Chromia is poised to transform the development and utilization of decentralized applications.
