INTMAX reveals plans for PlasmaCon Event on July 31st in Tokyo
INTMAX, a leading supporter of EDCON Tokyo and a pioneer in Layer 2 zkRollup technology featuring a stateless architecture, has unveiled the PlasmaCon event, according to recent updates shared with Finbold on June 7.
Scheduled to coincide with EDCON Tokyo 2024, the prestigious Ethereum development conference, the event will be held at the United Nations University in Tokyo on July 31 from 12:30 to 17:00 local time.
PlasmaCon will showcase a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Vitalik Buterin, the Co-founder of Ethereum, Justin Drake, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, Barry Whitehat, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation and PS, and other notable figures.
PlasmaCon aims to gather some of the most brilliant minds in the crypto sphere to explore innovative strategies for scaling Ethereum, privacy solutions, stateless architecture, and related subjects.
The revival of Plasma, an Ethereum scaling solution introduced by Joseph Poon and Vitalik Buterin in 2017, is of particular importance. Leona Hioki, the Co-founder of INTMAX, emphasized the renewed relevance of Plasma, stating:
“It’s time to dispel the misconception that Plasma is obsolete—it is stronger than ever before! PlasmaCon will unite remarkable thinkers and visionaries who have reshaped the entire tech landscape. Let’s reexamine Plasma, Statelessness, and Privacy together in Tokyo on July 31st!”
The event will welcome up to 400 participants and host over 15 experts from various corners of the world, sharing insights on topics ranging from the resurgence of Plasma to privacy, data availability challenges, blobs, recursive ZKP, and dApps on Plasma.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, pose questions, and engage in discussions with the speakers.
PlasmaCon will explore several pivotal themes essential for the future of Ethereum and blockchain technology. Discussions will center around scalability solutions for Ethereum, examining new technologies and protocols aimed at boosting network scalability, efficiency, and speed.
Privacy enhancements will also be a key focus, showcasing the latest developments designed to safeguard user privacy on the Ethereum network.
Furthermore, the conference will offer valuable insights into diverse application use cases of blockchain technology, underscoring its versatile potential across various industries.
The event will be held at the United Nations University situated on Aoyama-Dori Avenue at 5-53-70, Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-8925 Japan.
