The Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) has recently announced the launch of its fifth cohort in Singapore, scheduled to begin on May 20, 2024. PBA, known as a leading platform for blockchain education, is focused on nurturing developer talent and advancing the Polkadot ecosystem.

The program offered by PBA covers both the theoretical foundations of blockchain technology and its practical applications, ensuring that participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

The upcoming cohort in Singapore builds upon the success of its previous cohorts, offering participants an immersive and enriching learning experience. With the support of 18 experienced instructors and industry veterans, students can expect high-quality instruction and personalized guidance throughout the program, which spans approximately 184 lecture hours.

The curriculum of the program covers a wide range of topics essential for proficiency in blockchain development, including Economics, Governance, Smart Contracts, and Polkadot-SDK. From foundational principles to advanced methodologies, students will gain in-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and the Polkadot platform.

Pauline Cohen Vorms, CEO and Co-Founder of Polkadot Blockchain Academy, highlighted the significance of the dynamic Asian blockchain market, especially for Polkadot. She emphasized that Asia is an important region for blockchain, with many strong projects, contributors, developers, and founders based there. This makes it the ideal setting for PBA’s fifth cohort, as it aims to educate and cultivate a new wave of talent.

In order to promote democratization and inclusivity, PBA will also offer synchronous remote learning, allowing students from around the world to participate in their educational initiatives.

With its commitment to excellence and dedication to fostering collaboration and learning, PBA plays a crucial role in the growing Polkadot ecosystem.
