CETI AI Acquires 80M Worth of NVIDIA GPUs and Hardware to Grow Global AI Infrastructure Network by 25 Times
Vancouver, Canada – June 11th, 2024 – Chainwire
In an exciting development, ceτi AI has announced a significant expansion through an extended purchase agreement with Cedarcross International Technologies, Inc. The agreement includes the acquisition of three additional high-performance computing (HPC) servers, each equipped with 8 NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs. There is also an option to purchase up to 200 identical HPC servers. This milestone marks the successful completion of ceτi AI’s pilot-scale installation in British Columbia and paves the way for a 25x expansion of the ceτi AI Global Infrastructure Network, with additional GPU and server allocation planned through Q3, 2024.
The new servers, featuring NVIDIA’s cutting-edge H100 GPUs, are expected to be delivered within 45 days, enhancing the network’s capacity to support a wide range of AI application development and research. The firm’s pilot installation offers a state-of-the-art solution for web3 protocols, independent development teams, and advanced AI research groups. The 8-server, 64 GPU scalable unit can be expanded linearly and indefinitely to meet evolving demands.
Alongside the network expansion, the agreement grants the option to purchase up to 200 identical HPC servers from Cedarcross by September 30th, 2024. This reflects the commitment of both companies to sustained growth and technological advancement in the decentralized AI sector. ceτi AI has already identified potential hyperscale data center locations in Montreal, New Jersey, and Santa Clara, and is actively seeking investment for the acquisition, installation, and operation of the additional servers.
Dennis Jarvis, CEO of ceτi AI, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “We’re experiencing unprecedented demand for the physical infrastructure that will drive the upcoming Age of Artificial Intelligence. Building the necessary decentralized AI infrastructure requires strong partnerships, top-tier talent, and deep collaboration towards our shared objectives. We are delighted to collaborate with Cedarcross, a valued partner that embodies these qualities.”
