Nuklai and Peaq Collaborate to Improve AI and Data Monetization
Nuklai, a cutting-edge blockchain platform specializing in intelligent data management, has revealed its integration with peaq, a Layer-1 blockchain focused on Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) and Machine Readable Web Applications (RWAs). The disclosure, conveyed to Finbold on May 16, underscores the intent to enhance the artificial intelligence (AI) and data capabilities within the peaq ecosystem.
This collaboration arrives amidst a pivotal juncture, with global Internet of Things (IoT) device counts reaching 15.1 billion last year and projected to surge to 19.08 billion by 2025, producing a staggering 73.1 zettabytes of data.
The integration will imbue peaq’s extensive network, encompassing over 400,000 devices, vehicles, machines, and robots, with Nuklai’s sophisticated data infrastructure. Consequently, there will be advancements in machine learning, data processing, and the utilization of top-tier datasets and industry insights, alongside equitable opportunities for data monetization.
Nuklai’s core mission revolves around crafting the inaugural on-chain intelligent data ecosystem, facilitating seamless data sharing, solicitation, evaluation, and monetization. By transmuting raw data into refined smart data, Nuklai significantly amplifies its applicability for AI models. This concerted effort, backed by leading authorities in AI, DePIN, and graphics processing unit (GPU) technology, seeks to enhance production efficiency, refine predictive analytics, and cultivate a resilient data economy.
Building upon its prior collaboration with Farmsent, a global Web3 marketplace catering to farmers and consumer-facing enterprises leveraging peaq IDs, Nuklai extends its reach. Over 160,000 farmers have embraced this intermediary-free DePIN and marketplace ecosystem, striving to enhance data sharing and collaboration within the global food supply chain.
Jochem Herber, Head of Ecosystem at Nuklai, expressed enthusiasm: “peaq boasts over 25 DePINs spanning various sectors, each housing substantial troves of invaluable data. Nuklai will equip these ventures with the requisite tools for data monetization or efficient utilization, empowering them to optimize their assets. We eagerly anticipate advancing this integration, positioning Nuklai as the premier AI layer for DePIN, courtesy of peaq’s leadership in this domain.”
The nexus between AI and the Economy of Things hinges on the secure and seamless dissemination of dependable data, remarked Matthijs de Vries, Founder and CEO of Nuklai. De Vries emphasized that integrating Nuklai’s intelligent data infrastructure with peaq’s DePIN ecosystem marks a promising stride, particularly in their collaboration with Farmsent.
Till Wendler, co-founder of peaq, echoed sentiments on the symbiosis between AI and the Economy of Things, asserting that high-caliber AI and data infrastructure layers like Nuklai inject substantial value into their ecosystem, furnishing developers with formidable tools. According to de Vries, this partnership engenders mutual benefits, as the data amassed by IoT devices and machinery is pivotal to Nuklai’s user data ecosystem, enriching the broader data economy.
